Horse Play

I took my girls to visit a friends foal a few days ago, we came back with what must be some of my favorite pictures of Jess. She’s growing up far too fast, when I ask her to slow down she says that I make her eat too many vegetables. That girl cracks me up.

Los Cedros Ranch

I’ve had the recent good fortune of discovering Cowgirls and cowboys in the west, and their amazing Ranch in Amarillo TX. The views are breathtaking and with the ranch being right on the edge of the Palo Duro Canyon, they are diversely beautiful. Add to that the fascinating history of the area as shared by the resident Cowgirl and hostess, Miss Phyllis, the comforting presence of her Remuda of majestic horses, the beautiful sunset and I am as close to heaven as I’ve ever been. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a visit to the ranch – climb in the saddle and ride out to the canyon with Miss Phyllis – its Texan to the core.

What do I do when a photographer stands me up? Cant let hair, makeup and hours in front of a sewing machine go to waste – Yup, I take the images myself.

I had no idea 7:30pm could be this BRIGHT! This was definitely WAY outside of my comfort zone, but despite the howling wind, dust and no trespassing signs we had fun. Thanks to my Buddy for being such a good sport, and my husband for all his help. Im really looking forward to using these skirts again soon!

Miss E – 11 Days New

Little girls are the nicest things that happen to people. They are born with a little bit of angelshine about them, and though it wears thin sometimes there is always enough left to lasso your heart
